How do I remove the stone from a fruit?

Fruit is delicous and healthy and plays an important part in your balanced diet.  Several types of fruit have stones in them that need to be removed when you are adding fruit to a dessert.

To remove the stone firstly you need to cut the fruit in half.  Hold one half of the fruit in one hand and a small spoon in your other hand.  Use the spoon to push under the stone and run around the edge of the stone to loosen it.  The stone should then be free to come out.
