Want to buy locally produced organic food?

If you prefer to buy food that is organic and/or produced locally read our tips to help you find what you are looking for:-

  • Find out if there are any farmers markets happening in your area.  These are a great way to sample and buy a wide range of local foods.
  • Visit local shops or specialist shops in your area to see the range of local products that they have available. Local farmers and other suppliers often supply food direct to specialist shops.  It is likely to be more expensive but definitely worth it.
  • You can buy an organic vegetable box. These can be bought online and arrive at your door with organic foods freshly picked.  It will obviously only be foods that are in season but if you want organic food it is a great way to buy it.
  • You can also grow your own food in your garden or at an allotment.  If you are interested in an allotment you can contact your council for further information.
  • Find out where your nearest city farm is.  City farms promote healthy organic food.
