Look out for red tractors

Throughout supermarkets there are a wide variety of signs and symbols from traffic lights to red tractors.  It is well worth looking for Red Tractors if you want Farm Assured quality products.  To find out more please visit www.redtractor.org.uk and look out for more information in the shops and local media.

The Red Tractor scheme was set up by the Assured Food Standards.  It is an independent organisation that manages the Red Tractor scheme.  They set the quality standards that producers have to abide by and then police the certification bodies so that the Red Tractor only appears on food that is allowed to have it.

The Red Tractor symbol ensures the food you buy has been produced to high standards from the farm where it was grown or reared to the shelves on the supermarket or other retail outlet.  This ensures you are buying good quality, fresh food.
