Child and dad look at ingredients available
Do you know what to look out for in the supermarket? Each month we will give you information on what to look for when buying a type of food.

Do your shopping without leaving the house

Did you know you can now do all your grocery shopping online? For those of you who lead a very busy lifestyle, if you haven’t done it before it is worth trying now.

Many of the major supermarkets are now offering shopping online and delivery to your door.  The first time you try it you will find it takes longer whilst you search for the items you want.  However all the items you order will be stored in your ‘favourites’ so you don’t need to look for them next time.

You can have your shopping delivered on whatever day you like and you choose a time slot that is convenient for you.  Everything arrives packed in plastic trays and you just take your food out of the trays and return them to the driver.

Don’t worry, you will still be able to take advantage of the supermarket offers online and you will also be able to access exclusive internet offers.  Look out for vouchers for free delivery as this can add to your savings.

It is a perfect solution for those of us who have busy lives, work shifts or just don’t fancy pushing the trolley around the supermarket.  You may also find you don’t spend as much as it is easier to resist the temptation of the sights and smells as you wander round the supermarket.
